Description
A letter "T" shaped cave entrance (estimated to be about 6 m wide and 10 m high) leads down a boulder slope to sort of a left-hand bend. After an estimated 10 m, the passage is choked with boulders at floor level, but a scramble up a scree slope leads to a surface doline (entrance Chibe Cave 5b) with a waterfall causing a strong draught at the cave entrance. No way on found in the floor. ETYMOLOGY: No locally known cave name has been identified for this cave on the banks of the Chibe River. SITUATION: At an unknown location somewhere on the right (west) bank of the Chibe River.

EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1995.12.08: Christopher M. Smart (book), Boycott, Antony 'Tony' an unacknowled »local police man« (not identified: from Siju village) visited without bothering to attempt cave mapping -- »quite a successful day« (BROOKS 1996: 29) but also »quite a productive day« (Brooks, S J in: BROOKS, S J et al 1998: 16).
