NOTE 1: The Italian »Shâkinôka« (VERARDI 1977, item 3) or »Ghari Shaki Noka« (VERARDI 1977 location map) is indicated as »Ghari Shaki Noka« on AIMS sheet PI42-10 but positioned under the three titles Ghar-e Shaki Newka, Ghar-e Shaki Nowkah and Ghare Saki Noka at N33°13'43”: E067°41'53” (WGS84 gnpswww.nima.mil/geonames accessed 28.05.2004) in an area about halfway between Gholnadeh (N33°13': E067°41') in the north and Noka (N33°13': E067°41') in the south.
Man-made Buddhist rock chambers (compare: Caves in the –>Jaghuri Basin), used for religious purposes reported VERARDI (1977) from a situation somewhere at (or near?) a place called »Shâkinôka« and »Ghari Shaki Noka« (note 1) in the Jaghuri basin, the upper reaches of Arghandab River.
