Description
The supicious place name Sang-i Surakh Ghar, or Perforated Rock (crest window, literally -Graftfenster-, RATHJENS 1957: 284 Abb. 1) occurs in the Siah Koh, the mountains of Pashtun Zarghun south of the Heri Rud. Indicated as Sang-i Surakh on the AIMS map PI-41-06 (May 2002) positioned not only as Sang-e Surakh but also as Sang Surakh near N34°08': E062°42' (nima.mil/geonames (accessed 2003.10.04).
