Grottocenter / carte

Location

The stream takes its name from an obvious campsite in a small forest clearing beside the stream (47P 587100 1643400). Camp Stream originates near the southern end of the Khao Bo Ngam ridge and sinks ina large closed depression approximately 400m downstream from the campsite. Martin Ellis - 17/09/2019

Description

Martin Ellis - 17/09/2019

The stream progressively sinks into its bed of silt and gravel and no open entrances were found. However, it is worth noting the the Right Hand (Waterfall) Branch of Tham Nam Tok lies just below the blind valley. Pieces of bamboo and other plant matter found in the cave suggest the possibility of an open stream passage in addition to the gravel sink that was found in April 1996.
