The Irunilamcode Rock Cut Temple is not only a cave temple dedicated to Siva as Dhakshnamurti (Dakshinamurti) but somehow carved out of the rock inside a cave-like formation carved out from a huge granite hill (note 1). SITUATION: Somewhere more or less at (or so) Mullurkara (note 2), a village and railway station in a certain Tallapalli (Talappilly, Thalappilly) taluk (note 3).
