Description
Several »shelters« (or caves) containing rock art reported GOSH (1957: 79, figure 18) from the western slope of an anonymous hill (no name mentioned) that lies somewhere in the vicinity of a place called Bhairagarh, which is either Bhairagarh (±5 km) N23°15': E077°17'30” (WGS84) about 5 or 10 km along the National Highway NH 86 west from Bhopal city (23°16'N: 77°24'E), not far from the airport, and on the way to Sehore, or Bhairogarh N23°08': E077°20' (AMS sheet NF43-04 Bhopal, U502 series,1959 edition) at a travelling distance of about 15 km due south of Bhopal city (23°16'N: 77°24'E) but not shown in the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 71 E1).
