A dry cave about 10m above and 50m north-east of Tham Pra Tu Su Pa Lang.
Description
The cave has a large entrance (8m wide by 10m high) and a spacious entrance chamber, but other pssages are considerably smaller. Beyond the steep breakdown slope from the entrance the first chamber is dominated by an 8m column. The column and other speleothems in the chamber are dry and have a crust of flaking calcite. A side passage leads off from the entrance chamber. It is about 20m long and contains some dry decoration including stalgmites and columns up to 2m high. The passage terminates in a short, steep earth and rubble slope at the top of which is a small entrance. Access to the inner part of the cave is through a small hole at the inner end of the entrance chamber. This section of the cave comprises three intersecting fissures that are generally about 1m wide and up to 10m high. The upper part of the main fissure is several metres wide and has a flowstone coating that extends down almost to the main floor level. Decoration in this section is dry. However, it is not degraded like in the outer parts of the cave. This may be due to the effect of the passage constriction on cave microclimate.
