An impressive spring of water issuing from the snout of the Ralam Glacier (note 1) is shown in a photograph accompanying advertisement for trekking in Uttaranchal: The Ralam glacier trek is a very tough and beautiful trek. It is 50 km trek from road head [note 2]. The main attraction of this treks are ralam and paton village, Damfu Bugyal [note 3] and Ralam glacier. There are three glaciers meet in ralam glacier (kalabaland, sutela and yangchar glaciers). The maximum height of this trek is 3900 m.
