SAHIL CAVE, Bhama - Pabhain

A so-called Sahil Cave of dubious nature, which seems to be a natural sacred cave or rock shelter (temple cave), is said to be found in the vicinity of a certain Surya (Sun) temple and a fascinating view of the Himalayas (note 1). SITUATION: From the conjunction of the old Pithoragarh - Almora footpath with the new Ghat - Bageshwar motor road … 5 km away along Gangolihat - Chahaj [note 2] foot route, at Bhama [note 3] - Pabhain [note 4].
