Description

Martin Ellis - 26/06/2019

The 50 m deep entrance shaft is 3-5 m in diameter for about 30 m, where it bells out to 15 m in diameter. At this level a 7 m wide balcony extending back 3 m can be seen, but there are no ways on. Continuing down the cave opens into a chamber approximately 20 m in diameter and a passage approximately 3 m across can be seen leading off. However, a few metres off the floor the air has dangerously high levels of CO2 so the bottom of the shaft was not reached.
