A dubious »kuvva« (cave, mine, shaft cave, well) of dubious nature, which possibly may turn out to be an abandoned mine (note 1) in the Pb-Zn ore zone of the Nallamalla range, indicated DUTT (1981 plate 6, map: Localities of mineral occurrences in Cuddapah basin) as »Itamma Kuvva« at a location about 2 km or 5 km south-west from –>Sakalivani Kuvva, about 2 km or 5 km north-east from –>Gabbilala Gavi, and some 10 or 20 km in a direct line approximately south-east from Srigiripadu (N16°19': E079°20'), the »Sirigiripadu« in India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 102 B4).ETYMOLOGY: The Telugu noun "amma" means »mother.«
