Description
During the 30th April 1837 battle (note 1) at Jamrud (note 2), the adviser (Vizier) Meerza Samad Khan or Mirza Sami Khan (note 3) secreted himself in some cave or sheltered recess [a rock shelter?] where, in dispair, he sobbed, beat his breast, tore his beared and knocked his head upon the ground (note 4).
