The suspicious place name Udyar (better: Udhyar = cave, rock shelter) mentions Principal Dr. Trilochan ARYA (1993: 96, 102) in connection with trekking upstream the Sundardhunga Ganga / Sundardunga Gad to the Sundardhunga Glacier (note 1). This item is possibly identical with the rock shelter –>Sukhram Cave. SITUATION: Principal Dr. Trilochan ARYA (1992: 102-103) clearly leads into thick fog when telling a tale according to which, literally quoted, … the trekking starts at Khati [note 2], the next valley of the Pindar, to the Sundardhunga glacier after the third day trekking up to Khati or after the return trekking from Dwali. The next resting resort is jaitoli [note 3] 11 km away from Khati, the last village of this valley [note 4]. There are houses for lodging and boarding, otherwise tents may be used but the track from Jaitoli to udyar 13 km need local guide because no permanent route is not constructed.
