Description
What looked like a relatively small cave entrance was seen in April 1990 above the eastern (orographically left) bank of Kali Gandaki river about 10 walking minutes south of Khanyaghat () or Kanyagar on the trail from Beni (N28°20'30”: E083°38'18”) south-west towards Kusma (N28°13'00”: E083°40'50”). ETYMOLOGY: "Kanya" is an unmarried woman (virgin) and "ghat" is a kind of passage (e.g. steps leading down to the water, a pass, etc.) but "ghar" is a house.
