A horizontal cave near Nongjri lies at an unidentified spatial relation (not far from) to Krem –>Kurdrot and on the ridge opposite of Krem –>Lubon. ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for this cave called after the somewhat nearby village of Dukabor (note 1). CAVE DESCRIPTION: Having arrived at the cave entrance »… we immediately started to survey and actually found the three skeletons. The matter was a bit haunting. A few survey legs later the cave [survey] is finished« (Weidmann, Y1998.02.21 Mss). CULTURAL HISTORY - human use: Three bodies of executed insurgents are said to have been discarded in the cave in about 1993. A photography of their bones (Yvo Weidmann in ARBENZ & WEIDMANN 2003: 13) was executed on 21st February 1998.
