An unidentified »cave« (or so). ETYMOLOGY: The origin and meaning of the Khasi cave name "Krem Wah Urla" (Kharpran Daly, B D 1997 personal communication with Swit Sungoh, Umsteiñ village headman) has not been identified but refers to a "krem" or cave above the banks of a "wah" or stream, which (rather the stream than the cave) is specified by what must have been a slapstick scene involving a leaf, surface, page, leopard or tiger (note 1) that entertained a fall or slide, probably unintentionally, for a short distance, and typically losing one's balance or footing (note 2). SITUATION: Unknown. Brian Dermot Kharpran Daly had learned in February 1997 from Swit Sungoh, then a retired Umsteiñ village headman, that the cave entrance to »Krem Wah Urla« lies in an unspecified setting at an unidentified location which lies at an estimated walking distance of »half an hour« (or so) in an unidentified direction from the village of Wahsteiñ (25°09'05”N: 92°20'50”E Boycott A 1997 February GPS).
