Description
A wide entrance, 2 by 20 m faces an unknown direction and leads to an estimated 80 m of cave passages (Harper, Rob 2008.02.08 Mss: Cave no. 12a.pdf). ETYMOLOGY: No locally known name has been identified for this relatively wide entrance (note 1).SITUATION: According to Harper (2008.02.08 Mss: Cave no. 12a), a local guide [is] essential to explain the whereabouts of the second Cave no.12a as it lies not only at the very same GPS position as the first Cave no.12 but also without specified spatial relation to it. CAVE DESCRIPTION: Apart from yielding the identical estimated -length- and -depth- as the first Cave no.12, the second Cave no.12a of Harper, Rob (2008.02.08 Mss: Cave no. 12a) features a low wide entrance, 2 by 20 m (this time apparently high and wide), which leads after 4 m to what was identified as a wall of sand, mud, and sandstone filling where digging allowed gaining the lip of a 7 m pitch into a 10 by 5 m large passage which was not entered.A wide entrance, 2 by 20 m faces an unknown direction and leads to an estimated 80 m of cave passages (Harper, Rob 2008.02.08 Mss: Cave no. 12a.pdf).
