Description
A man-made irrigation tunnel (1 m in diameter) that had been excatated parallel to the hill face (KNAB 1990: 15 item N20). ETYMOLOGY: Rukh (KNAB 1990) is not identified but -ahuri dulo- seems to signify a tunnel that drains an irrigation channel; cfr. –>Mardi Ahuri Dulo. SITUATION: About 4 km north of the Pokhara airport entrance, 1 km north-west of Lamachaur, 0.75 km south-east of Lampata hamlet, and not only relatively close to a path but also an estimated 250 m short of fork where the paths to Ghachok and Lachok (Lahachok; Central Service Map 1989 sheet 40 Kaski) meet.
