Description
A noteworthy karst spring (and possible diving spot?) rising from Proterozoic (Upper Precambrian) Trikuta Limestone is reported (CHADHA 1992: 14) from the village of Kansar near the town of Riasi / Reasi (N33°05': E74°50').
NOTE 1: »Kansar« N33°08'48”: E74°54'30” (probably Everest 1830, CHADHA 1992: 14) indicates a spot above the right (northern) bank of the Chenab, approximately 12 km in a direct line north-west of Riasi / Reasi (N33°05': E74°50').
