Description
Man-made rock chambers, which were excavated from sandstone -in Buddhist times- and used for religious purposes, are reported (VERARDI 1977) under the title 12. Lâlâkhil (VERARDI 1981 location map), which appears to correspond to the Lalakhel (Red Fort / Castle) marked on AIMS sheet PI42-10 and positioned under the titles Lala Kheyl, Lalah Kheyl and Lalakhel at N33°13'16”: E067°35'41” (WGS84, nima.mil/geonames accessed 28.05.2004).
