HATHKAMBA 2 (Cave at)
17.014800,73.412200
Description
A cone-shaped, south-east facing cave entrance (almost 2 m high and 1.2 m wide at the base but on average about 0.8 m wide) leads to a 4.25 m long cave passage in laterite, again cone-shaped in ground plan, which arrives controlled by a geological (tectonical?) disturbance (approximately 030°/±90°) from a roundish end in the west-northwest (300°). The cave's floor, slightly descending towards the cave entrance, is covered with soil deriving from the caverniferous laterite.
