Description
A solitary, modified natural cave chamber (10 m wide and long, 5 m high), which is almost filled by mud deposits plugging the lower parts, is situated at the north-eaastern foot of the cave hill at the pilgrimage site –>Halesi / Maratika (SCHERZER 1992: 5). ETYMOLOGY: "Bhairab“ (Nepali) or "Bhairava" (Sanskrit), literally »The Terrible«, is the eighth incarnation of Shiva in his demonic form.
