Description
A glacier cave in the Modhi Khola has been vaguely reported from under the south face of Annapurna 1 and is at least 1 km long with large halls. In fact some trekking parties walk along glaciers and search for ice caves. Many caves are flooded, all are unsafe (CíLEK et al. 1989: 8). HAYES (1993: 63, 64) shows monochrome photographs of an apparently large cave entrance in a certain Annapurna Glacier.
