Description
A low archway leads into the apparently horizontal and an estimated 10 m long second (lesser) of the two small caves found (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 48) in the lower reaches of the –>Maheshkhola Sink and Resurgence. SITUATION: At an estimated distance of 20 m south of the larger cave near –>Menggo 1. CAVE DESCRIPTION (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 49): Cave 2 … is entered through a low archway. After 3 m, a shallow pool … terminates 10 m further on in an area of breakdown.
History
EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1994.02.20: Boycott, Antony 'Tony', Christopher M. Smart, Robert and Helen Harper visited what they nicknamed Maheskhola Resurgence Cave(s) (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 49) after having opted for Leaving the jeep and walking up the river valley where they found a short cave (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 18). This was 'surveyed' (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 49) to a degree yielding a so-called Surveyed Length: 10 metres (mere guesswork) and a Surveyed Depth: 1 metre (mere guesswork).
