Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

A dark, neglected grotto sacred to Catholic Christians, erected on an integrated plinth adjacent to and some 5 m away from St. Antony's Chapel in Anjuna. The inverted, letter -U--shaped entrance (about 1 m wide and 1.5 m) of the murky grotto is secured with a narrow spaced iron grid painted (in spring 2003) with silvery- coloured aluminium enamel.
