At a distance of two walking minutes from kilometre stone 101.1 on the road from Kabul to Mazar-i Sharif, and 25 m above the right bank of a canyon, on the left of Salang River. BTH - 28/01/2024

A spacious cave indicating two distinct levels of karstification, with a continuation 2.5 m above the floor and entering from the left (south-southwestern) side (SPELEOLOGIE AFGHANE 1975: 14, cave plan on page 15). CAVE CONTENTS: Speleothems (stalactites and stalagmite bosses, both dry), apparently in a state of decomposition.
