Description
A relatively huge crater … strictly off limits (LONELY PLANET, India 2005: 223), hence of unidentified diameter and unidentified depth, formed on occassion of detonating five nuclear devices in the Great Thar Desert and, allegedly, somewhere in the vicinity of Pokaran / Pokhran (N26°55': E071°55'), a town on the National Highway NH 15, about 110 km east of Jaisalmer (N26°55': E070°54').
