Tham Phaya Lue - LA0036

Tham Phaya Lu is signed to the east of the H1 at 47Q 536855 1983261. It is then 33 km to the caves with very few signs! The road skirts around a large open-cast lignite mine before heading east. Just past the village of Ban San Pa Pao take a dirt road that forks to the left. After 3 km a left hand fork leads to Tham Jaeng. Doi Phaya Lu is the hill to the north of the small hill with Tham Jaeng, but the ESRI GPS map shows Tham Phaya Lu to be in the hill to the east, close to the track which goes right at the fork.
