What appears to represent a sizeable but elusive cave entrance (note 1), which lies about 20 vertical metres up a cliff is said (Hagigat Ali, Passu, †1933) to be situated (note 2) at an approximate distance of 2 km or 5 km northeast of Sust (note 3). CAVE LEGEND 1: Local folklore narrates a tradition according to which some Europeans attempted some years ago a climb to the entrance but fell to their death (BROOKS 1993c, 1994c: 16).
