Location

From the H1269 follow the signs for Tham Tukatan and turn off towards the west. Follow the surfaced road to Ban Mong Pang Kwang. Turn left (west) up a rough track which becomes unsurfaced (4WD probably needed unless dry) to reach the top of the ridge. The track then skirts a doline (with limestone cliff) on the right which may be this site. Martin Ellis - 26/06/2019

Description

Martin Ellis - 26/06/2019

A concrete reservoir and a pumping station have been built at the cave entrance. Inside the cave there is a lake which is 1.5 m deep, After landing on dry ground on the left hand side the water goes down a cascade. After descending the cascade for 10 m the water goes into an impassable small hole. On the right hand side of the dry ground, low down at the bottom of the wall, there is a 1m diameter hole. This opens into a chamber via a pitch estimated at 10 m which would require rigging to descend. The chamber has thousands of bats in it and there is no air flow.
