Cave CM0085

Location
From the H1269 follow the signs for Tham Tukatan and turn off towards the west. Follow the surfaced road to Ban Mong Pang Kwang. Turn left (west) up a rough track which becomes unsurfaced (4WD probably needed unless dry) to reach the top of the ridge. The track then skirts a doline (with limestone cliff) on the right which may be this site.
Description
A concrete reservoir and a pumping station have been built at the cave entrance. Inside the cave there is a lake which is 1.5 m deep, After landing on dry ground on the left hand side the water goes down a cascade. After descending the cascade for 10 m the water goes into an impassable small hole. On the right hand side of the dry ground, low down at the bottom of the wall, there is a 1m diameter hole. This opens into a chamber via a pitch estimated at 10 m which would require rigging to descend. The chamber has thousands of bats in it and there is no air flow.
