A group of six caves in two rows, more or less similar in size or shape. ETYMOLOGY: According to a popular entymology, Mura Puk and takes its name from a legendary eagle which used to prey on humans: It is believed that these caves were dug out by those living in the village as a means of protection against Mura's onslaught (CHATTERJI 1979: 12-14, two monochrome photographs without scale). SITUATION: In the vicinity of (East) Zote, a village on the road from Champhai north to Khuangphah.
