There may exist a cave called Ynroin One named after the stream (Brooks 2005 Mss: Meghalaya 2005 Diary, entry 2005.02.05; Anthony 'Tony' R Jarratt 2005.03.06 Mss: Cave Log, vol. XII, 8/2/05). ETYMOLOGY: The Khasi auxiliary verb -yn- corresponds to will, shall (SINGH, N 1906: 247) and the verb -roi- means to increase, to make progress while the adverb -roiñ-roiñ- translates as full of holes, riddled with holes (SINGH, N 1906: 175). SITUATION: On the way from the caves of Krem Urle back to the camp (Jarratt 2005.03.06 Mss: Cave Log, vol. XII, 8/2/05) and at an unknown location somewhere back over the ridge near the camp (Brooks 2005 Mss: Meghalaya Diary: 2005.02.05).
