Cave TF10 - KA0392
15.048267,98.635192
Location
The depression that contains Tham Turakit Maiset, TF10 and TF12 is easy to get to provided you are able to get through the locked gates of the National Park. A good track leads directly to a logging/mining camp which inhabits the depression. If you have to walk it is a 4 hour uphill trek. The stream is followed to the bottom of the depression where it sinks into the ground through some boulders. Behind is a limestone cliff, at the base of which is the large cave entrance to TF10.
Description
The entrance drops quickly via a series of small climbs, with one small passage on the left, to a small passage which leads to a streamway and chamber. The streamway sumps at the end of this chamber. There follows a series of small fossil passages and further left is a large chamber. A 30m pitch drops to the chamber floor which finally closes down in a small choked passage.
