KUDENG RIM (Cave near)

An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to an unidentified cave, quite close to the road (Kharpran Daly, B D 2009.09.11 Mss -Here are a few more caves- item 3). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for this cave called after the nearby village of Kudengrim or Kudeng Rim (note 1). SITUATION: Proceeding from Jowai [note 2] towards Amlarem [note 3] and just before reaching Kudeng Rim [note 4] (Kharpran Daly, B D 2009.09.11 Mss -Here are a few more caves- item 3), literally Old Kudeng (note 5), indicated as Kudengrim on -amlarem-map.jpg- (note 6) beyond Amlarem and a west (right-hand side) of the road.
