Description
Another cave [see: Cave of –>Cinque Island], which must have been of much larger dimensions, had its entrance only just above the water level. The opening was alternately open and closed at the fall and rise of the swell, and it was fascinating to watch the birds waiting their time to dart in and out as opportunity offered. To explore this cave was beyond me as there was deep water below and it was also nearly dark (OSMASTON, B B 1977, 1999: 148-149). CAVE LIFE: Andaman Greyrumped Swiftlet, Collocalia fucifuga ssp. inexpectata. Keywords: Edible birds' nests.
