Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 05/04/2016

The suspicious place name »Kua« (cave?) indicates BASU (1967 geological map) about 25 km east-north-east of Bundi (N25°26'30”: E75°38'30”) and somehow beyond the villages of Khatkar (note 1) and Ajeta / Ajita (note 2). Geologically, the village of Kua is situated on the southern limb of an anticline where Lower Bhander limestone crops out.

NOTE 1: Khatgarh N25°30': E75°51' (nima.mil/geonames accessed 16.11.2003) is shown in the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 36 A4) at a travelling distance of 24 km north-east of Bundi. NOTE 2: »Ajita« N25°29': E75°51' (nima.mil/geonames accessed 16.11.2003) is indicated as »Ajeta« in the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 36 A4) a little south of Khatgarh.
