Description
A man-made troglodyte settlement is excavated from the conglomerate on the northern bank of Ghyakar Khola due south of Tsele (SIMONS et al. 1994a) or Chele (THAPA 1992: 45). CAVE DESCRIPTION 1994: At »Tsele … partially eroded cave system … There we saw, for the first time, real [read: exterior] staircases leading up to the different stories of the system« (SIMONS, SCHÖN & SHRESTA (1994a). CAVE DESCRIPTION 1992: »Chele. We were flanked on both sides by enormous red crags, one with a row of sculpted caves« (THAPA 1992: 45).
