Description
An estimated flow of several tens (Ducluzaux, B 1993 Mss) or even more impressive many hundreds (DUCLUZAUX, B 1994a: 24, 1994c: 31, 1995a: 10-11, 1995b: 38-39) of liters per second are attributed to a Frenchman's Krouze Kouk (sic! kuk = spring), the -principal spring- in the Hunza River valley, situated somewhere (note 1) at an unspecified distance upstream of Sust (note 2) in the Hunza River valley. This spring, which issues at the level of a river terrace built up from pebbles and sand, is apparently fed by a subterranean shortcut of the river but inspired Ducluzaux (1993 Mss item SO1, DUCLUZAUX 1994a: 24, 1995a: 10-11, 1995b: 38-39; DUCLUZAUX & JUBERTHIE 2001: 1956) to draw hydrological inferences on the basis of inconclusive evidence (note 3) combined with insufficient information (note 4).An estimated flow of several tens (Ducluzaux, B 1993 Mss) or even more impressive many hundreds (DUCLUZAUX, B 1994a: 24, 1994c: 31, 1995a: 10-11, 1995b: 38-39) of liters per second are attributed to a Frenchman's Krouze Kouk (sic! kuk = spring), the -principal spring- in the Hunza River valley, situated somewhere (note 1) at an unspecified distance upstream of Sust (note 2) in the Hunza River valley.
