The Dangar Dzong (cold fort) is an extensice cluster of man-made, rock-cut chambers (troglodyte dwelling) with several dozen entrances on the northern bank of Phangma Khola where the trail from Kagbeni to Dolpo starts to climb from the Kali Gandaki valley.
