Description
TAFEL (1914, 2: 145-146 edited 1923: 371-372) narrates a visit to a troglodyte retreat cave or shelter, complete with walled-in “lama”, situated within the range of a day’s excursion from Dscherku ndo in the valley of the Yang tse kiang. HUMMEL (1957b: 945, note 16) refers to TAFEL (1914, 2: 155ss = 1923: 371-372) relating to rJe-kun-’gro (Dscherku ndo).
