Description
An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a relatively large cave (Bill Richmond 2001 February) somewhere in the vicinity of a certain Amarsang village, which was said to line in an unspecified spatial relation near Balpakram or Balphakram. CULTURAL HISTORY - human use: At one stage of voluntary suspicion, the cave at Amarsang had been suspected to have been one of the hide-outs used by the ANVC (Achik National Volunteers Corps) but this turned out to be not the case (Kharpran Daly, Brian D 2001 February, personal communication with Bill Richmond). IDENTITY: Compare Krem –>Liewkha (Amarsang) and the unidentified cave near –>Riangmaw, Umtongkut (Umthogkut) or Mawthengkut.
