A south-west facing entrance, up to 10 m wide and 14 m high, gives access to some 55 m of cave passage, which descends 23 m and intersects –>Dikkakol (note 1) at a spot about 1035 m downstream from the latter. SITUATION: According to Harper (2008.02.10 Mss: Dikkakol - A'Sakol.pdf), a local guide [is] essential to explain the whereabouts of A'Sakol as it was understood to lie somewhere on ridge to North West of one of the nine distinct Nengkhong villages in the vicinity of the confluence (N25°18'13”: E090°36'52” WGS84) of the Chibe River and the Rongdik. According to the recorded GPS positions, the entrances of –>Dikkakol and Asakol (note 2) are 360 m in a direct line (NE-SW) apart from each other and lie on two distinct streams at approximate linear distances of 1 km NE from Nengkhong Sholadugiri (note 3) and 2.9 km NNW from Nengkhong Rangmatma (note 4). CAVE DESCRIPTION (Harper 2008.02.10 Mss: Dikkakol - A'Sakol.pdf): The main cave entrance –>Dikkakol is a stream sink in bolders at the foot of a waterfall. A short scramble down into a low wide chamber (2 by 10 m), whence an active streamway can be followed for approximately 100 m to a sump that can be bypassed by a flat-out crawl over the top.
