An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a rock shelter (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions) in which water seeps from an unidentified rock (the solid mineral material forming part of the surface of the earth). ETYMOLOGY: The -krang- (Lakadong Khasi) or -krem- (standard Khasi) recorded by expeditious foreigners fond of any or -annie- stupefying brew as Thang Bru (Audsley, A U 2014.12.30 Mss: Annie Audsley 26-02-2014 Krem Thang Bru.doc) looks a lot like a corruption of the Khasi word for the slim kind of bamboo called -tang prew- (note 1). SETTING: Without orientation at the base of a cliff close to Lakdong-Ummat (Audsley, A U 2014.12.30 Mss: Annie Audsley 26-02-2014 Krem Thang Bru.doc) and without spatial relation near (Village) Umlatdoh (Arbenz, T 2014.04.29 undated Mss: Cave record overwiev 2_ 2014.xlsx). SITUATION: The GPS position recorded for Krem Thang Bru(sic!) near (unidentified precision error purportedly ±20 m) N25°11'24.9”: E092°16'10.8”: 749 m (Chachula O M 2014.02.26 GPS Garmin etrex 30) indicates a spot which lies 600 m in a direct line due north from the Lakadong-Ummat church (±5.9 m N25°11'06.2”: E092°16'07”: 759 m, Brown M W 2002.02.23 GPS Garmin 12) and about 120 m in a direct line approximately south-east from the GPS position recorded for Krang –>Lymbiat, Lakadong, near (unidentified precision error again purportedly ±20 m) N25°11'27.2”: E092°16'07.4”: 741 m asl (Chachula O M 2014.02.26 GPS Garmin etrex 30). APPROACH: Take the track heading north from lakadong past the school. Fork left by Krem Busti (N25°11'23.4”: E092°15'59.7”') and follow the path to N25°11'27.9”: E092°16'04.2”: 750 m. Walk into the jungly, rocky area and climb down over rocks, then turn to SE (right). Pass the large obvious entrance to Krem Lymbiat at N25°11'27.2”: E092°16'07.4” and continue along the cliff for ca. 10 mins (Adsley, A U 2014.12.30 Mss: Annie Audsley 26-02-2014 Krem Thang Bru.doc).
