Description
An unspecified rock shelter or cave (unidentified peculiar characteristics, unidentified dimensions, unidentified shape, unidentified orientation) in consolidated boulder clays (DUCLUZAUX 1993d: 26) calcareous cemented alluvial conglomerate. IDENTITY: Riri Odar (DUCLUZAUX 1993) is possibly identical with the sacred –>Siddheshwar Gufa (Martin Butterworth 1998.05.06 personal correspondence). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known cave name identified for what has been called Riri Odar (DUCLUZAUX 1993d: 26) instead of Ridi Odar. SITUATION: DUCLUZAUX (1993d: 26) understood that this cave entrance lies not only at an unidentified location but also in an unspecified spatial relation near Riri (sic!) or, more likely, Ridi (N27°55': E083°25), a small town where the districts of Gulmi, Palpa and Syangja meet.
