An unspecified cave (unidentified name) is said (note 1) to lie about a kilometre from the village of Bharwani. ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for this cave named after the village of Bharwani (N24°30'05”: E079°21'30” Everest 1830: 365 m asl, SI sheet 54-P/06 edition 1977). IDENTITY: Since the village of Bharwani lies only a kilometre west of –>Ranikhera (N24°30'05”: E079°22'08”: 365 m asl), the cave near Bharwani is possibly --but this is mere guesswork-- identical with –>Ranikhera cave. Compare –>AA Cave (Kher 1997). SITUATION 1: Somewhere in the vicinity of Bharwani, a village about 110 km along the road south of Khajuraho (24°51'N: 79°56'E) and approximately 7 km or 8 km east along a -kacha- (unmetalled) fair weather road off (note 2) the Chhatarpur (24°54'N: 79°36'E) - Sagar / Saugor (23°50'N: 78°43'E) road. SITUATION 2: At a travelling distance of about 10 km along the motorable track (7 km in a direct line) rom –>Bhimkund (Chhatarpur: Bajna) approximately north.rom –>Bhimkund (Chhatarpur: Bajna) approximately north.
