No locally known name identified ADVANI (1981g) for an unspecified »cave« without identified nature or dimensions. IDENTITY: Advani's cave near Sirohi is possibly identical with the modified natural sacred –>Rishishwara Mahadeo Gufa, a temple cave near the village of –>Nandia (XXX), which itself lies about 14 km in a direct line approximately south-east of Sirohi (N24°53': E072°52'). SITUATION: ADVANI (1981g) places his allegedly nameless Sirohi Cave in a »rocky habitat« at an unspecified location some »near« or, to be precise, not only in an unspecified distance but also in an unspecified direction from the town of Sirohi. CAVE LIFE: ADVANI (1981g) collected from a so-called "Old Temple" (no name mentioned) specimens of the bats (Chiroptera) Rhinopoma microphyllum kinneari, Rhinopoma hardwickei, Taphozous kachhensis, Taphozous perforatus, Megaderma lyra lyra, Hipposiderus fulvus pallidus and Rousettus leschenaulti leschenaulti Desmarest 1820.
