Description
»Lapies« (karren, rillenkarren) in Chandi Limestone were reported »furrows with kife-edge ridges … These flutes have a width of 2 cm and 15 cm in length, and radiate in different directions from a common centre located at the top of the exposure« (MURTI, K S1972: 59). SITUATION (MURTI, K S 1972: 59): At a distance of 1.5 km in an uspecified way »south« of Dhabadih (21°44'20”N: 82°10'20'E': 246 m asl), a village some 6 km approximately north from the Baloda Bazar (note 1), which itself lies on the road from Bhatapara (note 2) east to Kasdal (Survey of India sheet 64-K/06) or Kasdol (note 3).
