Description
A 45 m wide and 1.6 km long band of limestone of similar quality to the one at Borra, but 1.6 km further east, reports RANGANATHAN (1968) from Kothiguda. »Another band of limestone is noticed at the south-west of Kothiguda (18°17': 83°02') about 1.5 km west of Borra« (KURIEN 1980: 199). ETYMOLOGY: »Kothi. A large house« (IMPERIAL GAZETTEER 1907-1909, 25: xvi).
