Nothing less than the precious occurrence of a rare Rock-cu-Cave (sic! probabile qua: rock-cut cave) reports the official archaeological website of the Kerala Government (note 1). SITUATION: 71 Tipu Sultan Fort, Feroke (Paramukku Kottasthanam): The top portion of the hill is known as Fort Hill (Kottasthanam) where, the Tipu Sultan's Camp at Feroke [note 2] might have existed. There is a Rock-cu-Cave in the hill.
