LOW BRIDGE CAVE

A relatively small cave entrance (Anonymous et al. 2010.03.29 Mss: Diary (current) 2010.doc) with unidentified shape and dimensions, which was understood to face an unidentified direction, gives access to a true tunnel cave (an estimated 3 m long), which is formed by a natural bridge (arch) and features a slightly more than one-dimensional crawl in water to right angle left turn followed by right turn (anonymous Audsley A U , Arbenz A, Furlong I, Simpson F E and Dawson H B 2010.02.09 Mss: Krem Low Bridge). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what a strong team of outsiders christened Krem Low Bridge as if -krem- were an English word or -low bridge- a Synteng Khasi (Pnar) expression (note 1). Judging from the approach (see below), however, this caving item is not a Low Bridge Cave at all but actually a Cave Beyond a Low Bridge (near an unidentified GPS position). SITUATION: Not only at an unidentified location (note 2) but also without ecognised spatial relations to the nearby cave entrances of Krem –>Dieng Jem, –>Fifth Time Lucky Cave, –>Spider Ball Cave, and –>Thorn Cave in the close vicinity. APPROACH: Walk [for an unidentified distance] south-east of the end [with unidentified GPS position] of the main river [with unidentified name] until you come to another small stream [with unidentified GPS position] in a valley [with an unidentified name]. Follow stream downstream [in an unidentified direction] to sink [with an unidentified GPS position] and there to a low (flat out) rock arch on the right [note 3]. Go under the arch and turn left [note 4] through karst [without identified distance] to cave entrance (anonymous Audsley, A U et al. 2010.02.09 Mss: Krem Low Bridge).
